Monday, Monday!!

Good Monday Morning Everyone!!


It is a BEAUTIFUL Monday morning on the Eastern Shore, and we could not be more excited for the arrival of fall temperatures!!  Fall is a GREAT time to have your family photographed outside!!  The colors are so lovely!!


Sweet Pea Photography MD had a wonderful weekend!!  We were invited to photograph a BEAUTIFUL surprise baby shower!!  There is a new daughter arriving in October, and this celebration was all about Pretty In Pink!!  The decorations were unbelievable, the food was fantastically delicious and it was such a joy to photograph the event!!

My name is Melissa DeWitt and I am a natural light photographer serving the Eastern Shore of the Delmarva Peninsula! I specialize in child photography, from maternity to newborns to teens, and family portraiture.

I strive to capture who my subjects really are. I love natural light! I love photographing my subjects in their home, where they live, laugh and love! I love furniture in a field and laying on blankets of grass! I encourage bare feet and free spirits! I love blankets and bubbles, pirate ships and princess crowns, rain boots and tutus! I love shy smiles, dancing feet and twinkling eyes! I love laughter and joy, and quiet moments of reflection. I love the refined and the awkward........the simple and the unique!
